BoomTown is a free online strategy board game. Roll the dice, collect coins from your buildings, and grow a dusty frontier settlement into a thriving city before your rivals do. Play with friends or computer opponents in your browser or on your phone.
Every turn you roll one or two dice. Every building you own whose number comes up pays out — some only on your turn, some on everyone's, and some take coins straight from the player who rolled. Then you spend your coins on new buildings from the Frontier and City markets, and the next player rolls.
Each game starts in the Frontier with farms, settlements and stables. As the Urbanization deck is drawn the town grows through four phases: the City market opens, bigger buildings arrive, and late-game cards like the Casino, the Law Firm and the Hydro Dam change how the money flows.
Collect complete unions of buildings for bonus coins, chase the full 1-to-12 number set, and pick up Development cards — City Council, Investment, Referendum, Logistics Depot and more — that bend the rules in your favour. Every game plays differently depending on which cards come out and when.
Start a quick game against computer opponents, invite friends to a private table, or join a public game and watch others play. Story Mode chapters teach the game one idea at a time, daily and weekly challenges reward regular play, and your town grows with every achievement you earn.
